How Roamie works
1Propose places
Everyone adds the places they dream about: a free photo from Wikimedia Commons, a pin on the map, the budget and the vibe of the trip.
2Vote together
Everyone has 10 points to spread across the places, and the comments are there to talk it over. Points update in real time for the whole group.
3Spin the wheel
Places that received points make it onto the wheel, and more points mean better odds. The draw happens on the server, so nobody can cheat.
4Plan the itinerary
Once the destination is picked, build the trip day by day and reorder the stops by dragging them.

Is Roamie free?
Yes. Roamie is free, with no ads and no subscriptions.
How do I invite my friends?
Every trip has an invite link and an 8-character code to drop in the group chat. Whoever opens it joins with just a name, no account and no app to download (or with Google, if they prefer), and you can change the code whenever you like.
How does the wheel work?
Everyone has 10 points to spread across the proposed places. Every place with at least one point gets a slice proportional to its points; the draw is random but weighted, and it runs on our servers.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Roamie works in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
What data do you collect?
If you sign in with Google, only your name, email and profile picture, to link you to your trips; if you join without an account, only the name you choose. No trackers or profiling (we count site visits anonymously, without cookies), and you can delete your account at any time.
